Herbalife provides Distributors Personal information about other Herbalife Independent Distributors and customers, as well as the downlines of these individuals. This information is confidential and proprietary, and Distributors must not disclose it to anyone outside of their downlines. Distributors should also protect this confidential information by not sending it via email or text, and by shredding or burning hard copies of the customer information. Personal Information

Business Information
If the Distributor wishes to sell the Herbalife Products to the general public, he/she must complete the Business Information section of this Application. This section includes the Distributor’s statement that he/she is aware of the risks involved with the business and has agreed to comply with Herbalife’s Sales and Marketing Plan. The Distributor must also certify in the Statement that he/she does not know of any laws and regulations that prohibit the sale of Herbalife Products by the Distributor.
One Distributorship Per Person
Individuals may hold and operate a maximum of one Herbalife distributorship, except as permitted by the Inheritance Rule or the Married Couples, Separation, Divorce and Dissolution of Life Partner Relationship, and Inheritance Rules. Distributors can add their spouse or Life partner to their Herbalife member record only for recognition purposes. This does not confer ownership rights or any other rights relating to the Membership.
Royalty Override Requirements and Production Bonus Earnings
Distributors must meet Documented Volume requirements and Royalty Points to qualify for monthly production bonuses and/or royalty overrides. These requirements are fully defined in the Herbalife Sales & Marketing Plan and in other Company literature and promotional material.
Herbalife can require that a distributor purchase additional inventory to meet the minimum requirement. These inventory purchases must use an Herbalife Purchase Order and be approved by the distributor’s sponsor.
A Distributor who has reached the Supervisor level or higher may order Herbalife directly from the Company, either for themselves or on behalf of other members. However, such orders must not be placed to manipulate the Sales & Marketing Plan or in an attempt to receive a discount.
Sponsorship Information
The sponsor is someone who helps you build your Herbalife company. They will guide you in the process of becoming an Herbalife Distributor, and provide training. They will also help you set up your online business. This person will be your coach and mentor in the business.
Herbalife’s multi-level marketing model is unique. It rewards Distributors for building strong downlines and encourages them achieve high levels of success in their business. It is crucial that new Distributors understand this business model and how to support their downlines.
Distributors are required to comply with Herbalife’s policies, rules, and regulations regarding the distribution of Herbalife products. In addition, Distributors must meet Documented Volume and Royalty Point requirements. These requirements are explained in detail in the Sales and Marketing Plan as well as other promotional materials and literature.
All members should maintain good communication with the people they are responsible for. This includes sharing information about the product line, business opportunities, and other Herbalife related topics. It is also important for Members to respond promptly to customer inquiries.
A Member must be at least 18 years old to become a Herbalife Distributor. Herbalife will allow younger Distributors in certain circumstances.
Herbalife charges an annual fee to its members for computer processing and other Herbalife services. This fee cannot be transferred to another member. Herbalife reminds members of the annual fee, and refunds payment if they fail to pay.
The Herbalife Independent Distributor Agreement is a legal contract between an Independent Distributor and Herbalife. The agreement outlines the rights and responsibilities for both parties as well as the conditions and terms of conducting Herbalife’s business. The agreement can be viewed and downloaded from the Herbalife site. It can be signed by both parties.
